I grew up in a small, rural NC town as part of a big family (5 daughters). I am thankful to have a Christian mother who was our church organist. We were there every time the doors were open! She did her best to raise us to know and love God, and I was baptized at the early age of 7.
I knew I was a sinner, I trusted in God, and I believed that His Son Jesus Christ was the only way to be forgiven. His word tells us in Romans chapter 10, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” I was much too young to understand the fullness of this gift, but I continued to grow and mature in my faith through the ups and downs of teenage and early adult life. Through campus ministries and faithful friends, I remained in the Word during college. Once I met my now husband, we found a church in Raleigh, NC, where we both lived, and got serious about church membership. We were married in 2005, and we faithfully attended that church until Gino's job moved us to Mount Pleasant, SC, in 2012. It wasn't long before we began attending FBC Mt. Pleasant, and we became committed to this body of believers. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to our two daughters, Avery and Aria, though I thought I'd never use my accounting experience again. But God had other plans! Once both girls were in school and I began looking for job opportunities, our church's long-time Finance Director announced her retirement. Thankfully, my background, experience, and desire to serve our church allowed me to become a part of the FBC Mt. Pleasant staff in 2017. I am so thankful for God's provision and protection over the years and His perfect plan. Our family is so blessed to be a part of this church family!  

When not at the church, I enjoy playing tennis, going to the beach, biking, hiking, RV Trips, spending time with family and friends, and just about anything else outside! If we haven't met, please stop by to say hello! I'd love to get to know you!
