Church Conference & Budget Meeting
Please join us at this church conference for updates to our various ministries and to discuss the proposed church budget for the new fiscal year. Ministry and budget details will be emailed to members in advance. At the conference, we will vote to approve the budget and to affirm church trustee, David Hibbs, for a new term. Voting is for FBC members only, but all are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Youth Summer Retreat at Awanita Valley
FBC MTP Youth Retreat
When: June 6th-8th
Where: Awanita Valley (600 Gap Creek Rd. Marietta, SC 29661)
Cost: $170 (food, lodging, transportation, t-shirt).
What: All students grades 6th - 12th are invited to join us for a weekend retreat! Our theme is "CONNECTED" and we will explore what it means to be connected to God as we love and obey him and connected to one another as we fellowship with Christians and love non-Christians.

Missions Council Bible Study for Women
Missions Council Women’s Bible Study
The Missions Council will host another Women’s Bible Study every first Tuesday of the month at the FBC campus (Room 105/107) from 4-6 pm beginning June 3rd. We are continuing our Gospel Series in Matthew. Our study will focus on prayer for our Mission Partners. Please reach out to Abbey Riggs at (843) 860-5661 with any questions.
Family Movie Night
All families (young and old alike!) are invited to join us for a family movie night! Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Feel free to invite friends and neighbors as well.

5th Sunday Fellowship Meal & Volunteer Appreciation
Please make plans to attend the 5th Sunday lunch. The church will provide fried chicken, dessert and drinks. We will also be recognizing our amazing volunteers. If you have volunteered in some capacity this year, please come and let us celebrate you!
Walk for Water
On Saturday, March 29, 2025, we will gather at Riverfront Park in North Charleston to “Walk for Water” and be part of the solution – bringing clean water to the nearly 2 billion women, men, and children who lack access to safe water Our team will gather around 8:00am, and the Walk begins at 9:00am.
Join our Team to participate in the Walk for Water Event on March 29, 2025! Please follow this link: https://walkforwater.rallybound.org/2025-walk-for-water/fbcccps for the CCPS/FBC Walk for Water Team Page. The cost for walkers is $25 for adults and $10 for children, and each registration includes a t-shirt. We will meet the morning of the race and walk as a team! When you register, you will have the option to gather additional donations from family and friends if you wish.
Consider making a donation to Water Mission if you are not able to participate on the walk day. Any and all donations are generous, kind, and very much appreciated! Donations can be made through the CCPS/FBC Walk for Water Team Page.
FBC Men's Retreat
FBC men, 18 and older, plan to attend the Men’s Retreat on March 28-29.
WHERE: Cainhoy/Huger area on Grove Creek
REQUIRED:
Bible, notebook and pens/pencils
Camp chair for sitting around the fire
Dress accordingly for outside conditions and for being around a large fire!
Any personal snacks, drinks, medications and/or food for special dietary needs (Meals and drinks provided as outlined in the agenda.)
OPTIONAL:
Camping gear (tent, air mattress and sleeping bag), clothing, personal toiletries if camping Friday night
Fishing gear if you would like to fish - SCDNR freshwater fishing license required
Fly rod if you want to participate in the lessons by Mike Able
Kayak and SCDNR required safety gear (PFD, whistle, etc). There is a floating dock and ramp to launch.
DO NOT BRING:
Firearms or guns of any kind (Firearms are prohibited on the property).
Primitive weapons of any kind (pocket knives are ok).
COST: $30/person

Please plan to attend a scheduled church conference on Sunday, March 23 at 5 pm. At this conference we will welcome new members, have a Q&A time with the elders, and vote on a membership issue (please see the motion sent via email).

Missions Night
Join us for a night of worship on February 21st from 6:00-8:30 PM to celebrate God's global work, to pray for the unreached, and to learn practical ways to care for missionaries. Our guest speakers are Connor Kennedy, our newest missions partner and Pastor Daniel Schumann of SIBC.
